We were at Betty's table, right at the front of the Grill Room. She never asked Julian for the check--she got a bill once a month. You were a such a good presence for Morgan, and she was a delight to work with on GRANIA.
Betty was in what Esquire called the Red Hot Center. But she was the least pretentious soul in the business.
